Can you help with my teen's knee or sports injury?
Lonehill sees a lot of high-school sports injuries, including ACL strains from hockey and rugby, patellar issues from running, and teen-specific complaints such as Osgood-Schlatter’s disease.
Is Lonehill set up for post-surgical rehab?
Yes. Both Imitha and Khona are well trained in post-surgical rehabilitation related to sports injuries as well as joint replacements.
Come in with your surgeon’s post-operative protocol and we’ll work to that plan. If your surgeon does not give you one, we have protocols for the most common post-surgery conditions and can manage your rehabilitation. We will also be in contact with your surgeon directly if they require a specific rehabilitation protocol.
Where is Regent Hill Office Park and how do I find you?
We’re in Block A of Regent Hill Office Park, on the corner of Turnley and Leslie Roads in Lonehill. Parking is available on-site. The office park is close to Lonehill Shopping Centre and a short drive from Fourways Mall.
How long is a physiotherapy session at Lonehill?
Forty minutes. We chose that length deliberately so your physio has time to assess properly, treat hands-on, and walk you through what’s going on and what to do at home.
For more on how the practice works and our approach to care, see our About Lamberti Physiotherapy page.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?
No. Physiotherapists are first-line practitioners in South Africa, so you can book directly with us. Some medical aids plans require a referral from a GP, so please check at least 24 hours before you head to your appointment. Both Sports Injury Benefit patients and Spinal Conservative Care Programme patients from Discovery require referral and activation from their GP or specialist. If you do have a recent referral or surgeon’s notes, bring them along.

How do I book an appointment at Lonehill?
You can choose from four options:
- Book online (live availability)
- Call (010) 140 0005 and select 4
- WhatsApp 076 554 4486
- Email lonehill@lambertiphysiotherapy.co.za
Online is usually fastest if you know which physio you want.
What if I don't have medical aid?
We run Clinic Days at a lower fee for qualifying patients who cannot afford medical aid. Please book by phone, since Clinic Day slots are not shown online. Clinic days at Lonehill are on Tuesday and Wednesday late mornings.
Do you accept walk-ins at Lonehill?
Yes, we do accept walk-ins and try to accommodate these patients as quickly as possible. If all the physiotherapists are fully booked, we will assist you as soon as someone is available. However, we’d rather you call ahead so we can hold a slot. A quick call on (010) 140 0005 (select 4) usually gets you in same-day if there’s a gap.
Do you offer dry needling at Lonehill?
Yes. Imitha and Khona are trained in Dry Needling and will use it in treatment if it is appropriate to the condition being treated. Consent will always be obtained before dry needling is commenced.
Will I get home exercises after my session?
Yes, your physiotherapist will provide you with a detailed home exercise programme tailored to you and your condition. Hands-on treatment in the rooms is half the work; the other half is what you do between sessions. You may ask for these exercises to be sent to you via email or WhatsApp.
Do you offer online physio consultations at Lonehill?
Yes. Online consultations are useful for follow-up rehabilitation sessions which only involve exercise progressions, or if you’re travelling and need to check in with your physio. They’re not a full replacement for hands-on treatment, but they can keep you on track with your ongoing rehab. Ask reception when you book.
Do you offer home visits at all?
Yes, we do if you live within about 5km of the Practice. These sessions are generally for patients who are physically unable to get to one of our branches or for post-operative patients. Please make sure you specify this type of appointment with our Reception when calling, rather than using the online booking system.
Do you claim directly from my medical aid?
Yes. We charge medical aid rates and submit claims directly on your behalf. If your medical aid does not cover physiotherapy, or if you are out of funds, then you will need to settle the outstanding amount after your session. Please bring your medical aid card to your first visit so we can capture your details.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your medical aid card (if applicable), a towel, and a pair of shorts if your condition involves the lower back and lower limbs, or a strappy top for women if the condition involves the upper back, shoulder or neck. If you have recent X-rays, MRI scans, or surgeon’s reports relating to what we’re seeing you for, please bring those too.
