About Lamberti Physiotherapy

Lamberti Physiotherapy Woodmead is based in the Allhart Office Park on the corner of Woodlands Drive and Western Service Rd. This branch of Lamberti Physio was the first to be started in 2004 and is part of a multi-disciplinary team. Other professions based at the centre are a Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapist, Biokinetics and a Midwifery team. Part of the practice is a rehabilitation studio to work with patients to enable them to return to full function either on the sports field or in their daily lives.

Lamberti Physiotherapy Woodmead is situated conveniently and is easily accessible from surrounding areas and the M1 highway: Woodmead, Gallo Manor, Wendywood, Buccleuch, Khyber Rock, Morningside, Rivonia, Sandton, Paulshof, Waterfall, Kyalami and Sunninghill.

Fiona Lamberti

Fiona Lamberti

BSc (Physio) Wits

Fiona qualified in 2001 and is the founder of Lamberti Physiotherapy. She was previously based at the Woodmead branch. Her experience and knowledge of sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, headaches, temporomandibular (TMJ) pain and pelvic girdle dysfunction bring expertise to her primary role of mentoring and upskilling all members of the physiotherapy team across all the branches. Fiona has also qualified in dry needling and fascial manipulation, a specific technique used to treat the fascia, our body’s specialised tissue network. This specialist knowledge has been of great benefit to the Lamberti Practice. Fiona also dedicates much of her time to educating physiotherapists around South Africa.

Shelagh Green

Shelagh Green

BSc (Physio) Wits

Shelagh graduated in 2001 and is the Associate Manager at the WOODMEAD branch, having worked there since 2005. She has completed the orthopaedic manipulative therapy (OMT) and Sport therapy (SPT) post graduate courses, dry needling and level 1 in fascial manipulation, so she is qualified to treat all musculoskeletal problems. Shelagh has a special interest in persistent pain and enjoys working with people new to exercise. 

Sinqobile Msimango

BSc (Physio) UCT

Sinqobile qualified from UCT in 2021. While she was in Cape Town she volunteered with the Rondebosch Boys rugby teams. She enjoys treating many conditions, including joint and muscular conditions with a special interest in the biomechanics of movement and rehabilitation therapy, as well as managing back, neck and sports injuries.  She has completed Level 1 Dry Needling course and is now working at the Woodmead branch.
Outside of work Sinqobile reads, writes and enjoys training in the gym and doing cardio exercise.

Yashoda Naidoo

BSc (Physio) FS

Yashoda graduated from the University of the Free State. She has completed courses in strapping, dry needling and is in the process of qualifying as a Pilates instructor. She has a passion for both the physiotherapy profession and research which has led her to start her master’s degree in a pelvic health. Yashoda enjoys treating orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions, with a special interest in rehabilitation programmes. Her passion for movement and helping others allows her to provide optimal care for my patients.

Elzanne de Ruyter

BSc (Physio) Wits

Elzanne graduated from Wits University. She has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, as well as orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She believes in providing patient-centered care that goes beyond treatment, ensuring every individual feels heard and seen, with the aim of helping them reaching their goals. Elzanne has completed courses in dry needling and strapping and will be completing her advanced neuromusculoskeletal postgraduate course in 2025.
