Lamberti Physiotherapy Tygervalley offers hands-on physiotherapy for headaches, neck and back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, sports injuries, chronic pain and general muscle and joint pain.

The branch is also suited to active patients who need rehabilitation after injury, as well as people managing new or recurring pain linked to work, sport, posture, training load or daily movement.

A session begins with an assessment and treatment may include manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises, dry needling, strapping, movement retraining, injury prevention education and personalised recovery guidance, depending on your condition.

The Tygervalley team works with patients of different ages and activity levels, so each treatment plan is shaped around the cause of your symptoms, movement limitations, goals and recovery needs, with the aim of helping you move better, build confidence and return to daily activity, work or sport.

Our physiotherapists also assist patients with seasonal, health-related physiotherapy (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia).

Is Tygervalley Lamberti's only Cape Town branch?

Yes. Tygervalley (Willowbridge) is our only Cape Town practice, serving patients from across the Northern Suburbs. All of our other branches are in Gauteng. If you’re visiting Cape Town and need a follow-up appointment, this is where to come.

Where in Willowbridge are you exactly?

We’re at 39 Carl Cronje Drive, on the outside of Willowbridge Shopping Centre, on the ground floor, three shops to the left of the Footgear entrance.

Willowbridge parking is paid parking but the first hour is free. We’re easy to reach from the N1 highway.

Do you accept medical aids and do you submit claims directly?

Yes. We work with all major South African medical aids, including Discovery, Momentum, Bonitas, GEMS, Fedhealth, Medihelp and others.

We submit claims directly to your medical aid on your behalf. Private patients and accounts rejected by the medical aid will need to be settled on the day of treatment.

Do you offer clinical Pilates at Tygervalley?

No, we do not.

Can you help with chronic headaches?

Yes. Headaches are a particular focus for all our therapists. Many headaches that feel like migraines are actually cervicogenic (driven by neck and upper-back tension) and respond well to hands-on physio.

What are Tygervalley's open hours?

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 18:00
Friday: 07:45 to 17:00
Saturday 08:30 to 13:00.

Saturdays book up quickly so it’s worth booking a week or two ahead if possible.

How long is a physiotherapy session?

Forty-five minutes. We chose that length deliberately so your physio has time to assess properly, treat hands-on, and walk you through what’s going on and what to do at home. For more on how the practice works and our approach to care, see our About Lamberti Physiotherapy page.

Do I need a doctor's referral to book?

No, you don’t.

Physiotherapists are first-line practitioners in South Africa, so you can book directly with us. That being said, certain medical aids require a doctor’s referral in order for the treatment to be claimed. Please check in advance with your medical aid if they require a referral.

How do I book an appointment at Tygervalley?
