“Our work is never done, our learning is never ending,
Lamberti Physiotherapy was started by Fiona Lamberti, in 2004. It began as a small one man practice, in Woodlands (Sandton), and from there has expanded into Woodmead (Sandton/Midrand), Paulshof (Bryanston) Douglasdale, Fourways and mostly recently in Tygervalley in Cape Town, plus Dainfern in Midrand. The five branches in Johannesburg are conveniently situated close to many areas in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg – Woodmead (Midrand), Paulshof (Bryanston), Douglasdale (near Bryanston and Jukskei Park), Fourways (Broadacres and Craigavon) and Dainfern (Kyalami and Midrand). The new practice in Cape Town’s northern suburbs – Tygervalley – is close to the main highways and suburbs such as Durbanville, Bellville, Tableview and Parow. The Lamberti Physiotherapy practices are all linked making it easy for patients to attend physio at any/all of the branches.
and our knowledge is forever growing”
At Lamberti Physiotherapy we believe in a hands-on approach, where we spend 45 minutes or more with each patient. Manual therapy and rehabilitation is focused on in these sessions. Electrotherapy machines are ONLY used in very acute injuries where swelling and bruising is severe. Our aim is to make you, the patient, independent of us, your physio. Our job is not done until you are able to manage your pain and well-being without us. This is achieved through education of your condition/injury and intense rehabilitation.
The Lamberti Physiotherapy team strives to offer its patients and referring professionals a high quality “hands on” approach to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
The Physiotherapists working as part of the Lamberti Physiotherapy team are well-trained, highly qualified Physios, all of whom have completed post graduate levels in manual therapy. Not all physiotherapists use manual therapy skills of this level, as it is only in the post graduate training that manual therapy is perfected, and even then there is room for improvement. It is for that reason that we all continue our education.
We are aware how costly medical care is, and the drain that this can have on a person’s cash flow, especially as physiotherapy is often an unforeseen expense. We aim to make physiotherapy accessible to all. In fact, we decided not to increase our fees in line with medical aid price increases for 2017.
Your health and wellness is important to to everyone in the Lamberti Physiotherapy Team. This journey that we will embark on together may be long or short, easy or challenging, filled with laughter and/or tears, whichever it is, we strive for success and to build lasting relationships, based on mutual trust and respect.
